YOUR FLEXIBLE EVENT SPACE AT CHALMERS!
Veras gräsmatta is a space for event and gatherings with a focus on entrepreneurship and innovation. Our open area gives your event an extra edge and are located inside Chalmers University of Technology.
Our aim is for students, startups, researchers, entrepreneurs, creators, companies and organisations to meet, share ideas and co-create the future.
The capacity for the space are everything from small meetings to big gatherings of 150 people. With a stage, image and sound system, a pentry, 2 conference rooms and a loft, the possibilities are endless.
Prices
All prices are exclusive of VAT. We offer community price for Chalmers when hosting entrepreneurship and innovation events at Veras gräsmatta. Contact us for more information about the price and what’s included.

The venue must be booked for 30 minutes before and after the event for setup and closing.

4 weeks: No charge
2–4 weeks: Pay 50% of rental fee
<2 weeks: Pay 100% of rental fee

Larger Events
For larger events, please inform Chalmers cleaning services at 031-772 5064 so they can prepare for extra cleaning of toilets, etc.
If you bring in external companies to assist you, you are responsible for meeting and letting them into Veras gräsmatta, as well as informing them about the rules.
Audio-Visual Equipment
1 large TV screen 98’’
2 hand microphones and 4 head set microphones with rechargeable batteries are available in the cabinet..
Light Switches
Located to the left of the refrigerator and to the left of the door to Conference Room Olga.
The lights on the stage wall light up behind the stage. Hold in button to dim.
Furniture
Standard seating: 30 chairs in theater style near the stage (50 extra chairs available).
10 white folding tables.
On the loft, there are 5 tables with 6 chairs around each.
Toilets
Toilets are located to the right and left of Veras gräsmatta's entrance.
Access to Veras gräsmatta
The door to Veras gräsmatta opens with Parakey (digital key) or access card, which you can borrow from us.

Greet your guests with an image on the TV screen at the entrance!
If you have an agenda, it can be displayed on the tv inside the event space. Send your image/images no later than one week before the event to booking(at)stenacenter.se.
Size: 16:9 or 1920x1080 pixels,
File format: Powerpoint, jpg, or png.
Invoicing Details
Send invoicing details/cost center/reference number to info(at)stenacenter.se.
After Your Event
As a customer, you are responsible for restoring the venue to its original condition and furniture.
Arrange chairs and furniture.
Vacuum, wipe down tables.
Trash bags should be taken down to the trash room along with any cardboard, empty glass, etc.
Bottles/cans can be placed in the green recycling bin.
Put back the microphones to charge and lock cabin.
